Safe Rooms

The simplest Panic Room or Safe Room is a designated room within the property that is fitted with a strong, solid-core door and quick activating locks.

The door normally has a steel plate inside the core so that there is no visual difference between it and the other doors in the residence.

The door frame is in balance with the door in that the steel is also hidden away from sight. Locking is usual multi-point and can be operated quickly by a one hand lift of the internal handle.
